At McKinney Christian Academy we know that if a parent, grandparent or special friend becomes fully engaged with their MCA student, the educational experiences of students, parents, teachers and the MCA staff is greatly enhanced. It is the expectation and goal that parents become fully engaged with their children during their time at MCA.
MCA Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF):
The PTF is a non-profit organization where all members work together to support the teachers, staff, students and parents of MCA. There are no annual dues or fees to join, and everyone can find opportunities to serve! The PTF board members meet monthly with school administrators to discuss upcoming events and ways that the PTF can assist the school. To become involved with PTF, please click here to send a message to Kim O'Neil our PTF President.
MCA Stampede Athletic Club:
The mission of the MCA Stampede Athletic Club is to partner with the coaches, administration, students and parents in developing support for a God honoring athletics program committed to excellence, while building Christian character. The mission is threefold: To Support…The SAC will support MCA and all MCA athletics. We believe that athletics are an important vehicle for the physical, emotional, academic, social and spiritual growth of our student athletes as well as our student body. To Assist…The SAC will assist MCA administration in meeting identified athletic department needs, organizing fundraising for athletic department programs, and promoting athletic events. To Serve…The SAC will serve as a resource for the athletic department, athletic director, coaching staff, administration, and our student athletes. This implies a commitment of time, energy and talent toward the development and maintenance of excellence, not only in the athletic program, but also in the overall ministry of MCA. Be All In!
Volunteer to read in your child’s classroom on a regular basis, be a room mom or dad, be a chaperone on a field trip or volunteer to help with one of the many annual MCA school events, such as Pumpkinville, Jog-A-Thon, 5K Challenge, or Bingo Night. Volunteering could mean helping as a coach, providing a helping hand with fine arts productions or offering your experience in an internship or mentoring capacity. The choice is yours, and the benefits are many.
